Corbeau 2 inch double release harness belts for WRX
Has anyone tried the Corbeau 2 inch double release harness belts in a 2008 or newer WRX? I am looking for something along the lines of the Schroth Quick-fit harness system that uses the existing seat belt mechanim. Unfortunately, the Schroth system doesn't work for WRX models later than 06 model year. I stumbled across the Corbeau belts, but there is no specific information regarding model year compatibliity.
I contacted Schroth and the represensative told me that their quick fit system cannot be used on models newer than 06 because they experienced a seat breaking during testing. My goal is to have a little more safety for HPDE without incurring the expense of a harness bar and belts, which would cost about $700. Thanks
