Blue, baby, yeah!

Default installation

Did you install it yourself?

Sounds like a good deal!

Yep it's a great power adder. The only downside for me is the CEL.

Thumbs up

I just drove my friends stock WRX last night.. I can't believe how big of a difference there is between our cars. His car felt so slow! There's no gut feeling in first gear.. and forget about using 3rd gear in the city to pass someone... unless you are going about 60mph.

the CEL stays on? hmm... i dont like that, i was really thinking about getting that kit too. Is it the chip that makes the car faster or is it the up pipe or what?

Stage 0 with NO CEL's here .... just saying not everyone has the problem. Did you gap your plugs correctly? Did you wire the unichip correctly?? Call Shiv/Joel and get the code pulled by your dealer if possible.

My Stage 0 install was completed this weekend. I drove around for a day without the colder plugs. No CEL. Added the plugs and still have no CEL after 100 miles. My boost is currently set to about .85 bar though. I'm going to have Christian at Modern Garage confirm the tune on the Unichip before I run with 1 bar.

Car doesn't really feel fast... but it is. The throttle/boost response has increased drastically. EGT's have yet to surpass 825C. The biggest difference is not a 'push you back into the seat feeling' but more of a 'I now have a bigger motor that pulls throughout the full rpm range'. It feels a lot different than what I was expecting but it's eerie and cool at the same time.

the stage 0 is awesome. at first i didn't notice a difference, but there really is a big difference. lag is greatly reduced, the car feels lighter or the engine feels bigger, and the engine revs a little faster as well. i'm looking forward to getting the stage 1 kit because i can feel that my stock exhaust is slowing me down a little bit. my car wants to give more, but there is too much backpressure in the stock exhaust system. i can't wait!

wait a week and your feelings will change about the push you back in your seat thing. 1st and 2nd will floor you and the rest of the gears retain that smooth feel. trust me. i was a little worried when i "lost my 3rd gear" right after the install. but after about a week, wow! by the way, i have about 6k miles on my stage 0. no CEL, no problems.

I got the flashing then solid CEL's the first day it was installed. The CEL is for misfire. This happened with both the stock plugs and the plugs from the stage zero gapped to 0.28 (as instructed). The note about this CEL is in vishnu installation guide. It's just irritating to have even it's not really hurting performance. It is interesting that customers will have to pay vishnu additional money for the "fix".

What do you do is the CEL goes on?
Also does stage zero work well ith a 3" turbo back exhaust?

The CEL is an issue with the Unichip, not specifically just the Stage 0. Cobb users see it, TurboXS users see it, and Vishnu users see it. Everybody will charge extra once a 'fix' is produced. It is over and beyond the Unichip and therefore the cost is justified.

I am slowly saving my pennies for a stage 0. I cant wait, but I really want wheels and tires first...decisions decisions...

If you already have a turbo back exhaust make sure you tell vishnu that when you order the stage zero. The fuel/timing maps will be different and you will get more power out of the kit.

two questions.
what are CELs?

the vishnu 0 is my first planned mod. i then will get into suspension, brakes, exhaust, intake, etc.

when i add these things, at least the exhaust, or any other engine mods, will i have to get the unichip reset? is this costly?
