My SVX's motor has less miles on it, and it's an LSI. Just needs a paint job now.

Beautiful example of an SVX, unfortunately I don't see any chance of them getting that price for it. I can't even get a look at mine for 3k. I know that I have much more milage and it isn't as clean but the fact is these cars just arent selling.

That car, in that condition (LS, not LS-I) is worth a good $8-9k IMO.

Now mine, once it gets a 2005 LGT 5MT in it, and maybe some dual turbo lovin'/a standalone and some paint... Yay, project work.

A CASSETTE PLAYER! HOLY COW!

SVXs are just not my thing, no matter how clean they may be (and that one does look clean).

Ryguy I have gotten that from several people before, is it how it looks or more of the fact that it is a fat pig and is never ever going to be quick lol.

To be honest it just looks dated to me. There is a lot of late 80s design experimentation in that car. The reason I liked my S13 240sx was because I thought the design stayed contemporary(ish). Plus, (correct me if I'm wrong) the car was only offered with a 4EAT.

Although, I do sometimes wonder why Subaru backed away from digital climate control, as well as some of the other digital insturmentation. That's one thing I wish my car had, although it does have analog automatic climate control.

I will believe when I see it, but best of luck I really hope that you can find some hidden power in this car. Are you planning on keeping full interior or what Geoff?

I plan on reupholstering the interior. I've got the 2005 LGT 5-speed with crossmember, clutch, flywheel, etc. already. Plan is to send the car up early next year, to PDX Tuning and have them keep the car for 2-3 months to fabricate everything needed. Likely going standalone, and running 2 TD04s at 7psi for each 1.6l cylinder bank. Car should be good for a solid 300WHP with that light setup...easily handled by the LGT tranny. My SVX motor was rebuilt recently with only 6k miles on it right now.

I do love my climate control. The fact that it is only automatic is a problem for me as well. The main problem is they break a lot. I have an automatic from a legacy. It is much better, not as good fuel consumption on the highway though. I agree with the dated look, but I still like it. I like the way it is kind of unique compared to other cars.

By the way I think it looks a lot better without the faux center light. The 97 had a proper grill. My 94 has a variation of that.

Hmm. not exactly sure on the law in TX but if it was last registered in '01 would who ever registers it needs to backpay registration from '01 to now unless it was last registered as a non operating vehicle?

Also, I don't think I would want a car that sat for 10 years regardless of the cosmetics of it. Tags from 01 not a good sign.
