Default Tires for the drag strip?

Looking for a set of sticky tires to put on the stock 16 inch wheels for the strip. Just looking for recommendations on brand and a good size to run. Thanks in advance.

Just FYI, drag racing questions are usually better answered in "Proven Power Bragging".

If you post there, they'll probably want to know what power you have and the typical 1/4 mile times you're aiming for. I'd expect optimum tire choice will vary depending on how fast you are or want to be.

Hossier Quick Time Pro or QTP. 26x9.5x great tire great sidewall and great size for gearing. Nice sidewall to deflect in tire instead of driveline. The 26" tall tire help with gear ratio as it will help stay in each gear that much longer. The oval side wall profile rather than block or square helps with high speed stability. IMO Matt
