Default 7 days old...

Just less than a week old and already dirty from some highway driving. Finally got around to getting a new pressure washer just for her.

Finished late, thought i'd post. Already got tint and loving this car!

looks very good...nice picture. It's so much easier to wash when you wash frequently! (and carefully)

You need to get some mudguards asap to protect your paint!

It never rains here nor do I plan on driving off road. Who makes a mud guard, as I do not care for mud flaps (not looking for that look).

Your picture was nice enough that I posted it in the "2011 Imprezas and Beyond" thread.

Good work!

It'll still chip! The rear door bulges will still take a beating even from the smallest pebbles on the road...

I don't really see that happening too bad on the wrx's. The wheels are set much further in the wheel well than the wheels on the STI

not to mention they come clear bra'ed from the factory in that location.. regardless, rally armors look good and they do help.

this will be a larger need if you ever change the wheels out.

I'm not a huge fan of the rally armor look with the stock 2011 wheels. The RA's just stick out too damn far compared to the inset wheels. When I upgrade my wheels I will throw a set of ra's on

I think adding mud flaps totally kill the sleek-look factor. With them they just don't look that good anymore, especially ones that are a contrasting color.

Most cars look best as stock (designers that know what they are doing) and I like to keep them like that.

I would at least entertain the idea of a clear film on those areas folks mentioned. I had a similar issue with my Challenger. Luckily, I caught the problem early and garaged the car until I could install the factory splash guards. They look "ok" since the car is black and I would prefer not to have them, but at least the paint has some protection. ....and I can always remove them later down road if I want.

Agreed here...mudflaps are good for protecting stuff but they throw off the car's look IMO. Plus, I have yet to experience a Subaru with stock or close to stock rims/tires that was just begging for flaps...unless you really do a lot of offroading.
