OMFG. I am all knowledgeable now. I will do EJ20 swaps for 200 bucks, you supply the motor ill do the wiring. hahaha

anyways good **** chris. i wouldnt give anything away if i was you either. thats one hell of a lot of **** you have to go through.

that's it? lemme tell you young folks how we did back in the old days.

we had to make our own wires. we had to mine our own copper and then spend a month or making the wire and harness? we dont need no stinkin' harnesses. we had to hand solder all our joints.

i have one 2.2 95k, one 2.5 sohc 42k and one 2.5 dohc 50k.
all motors work fine. engine of these types range from 2.2 (400bux) to 2.5 dohc (1200 bux).
BTW i am keeping the 98 dohc

Holy moly, $400 for the EJ22!?!?!?



How much for the sohc 2.5? (you said dohc twice)

Any clue if the EJ25 or EJ22 would bolt up to the EJ18 tranny with cable clutch though?

I had a cable clutch in my obs. I switched it to hydrolic. BOTH options work.

Complete 2.5 Sohc w/42k $900. no ecu or harness.

Man, $900! Andy, you should get that Im not gonna have that kind of money for awhile still...

Good to know the cable clutch works fine though... i was worried about that.
