Default New muffler suggestions

I had bought a tbe off a friend of mine for 200 and I couldn't say no considering I already had an accessport. It was custom welded by an exhaust shop (and I've gotten a bunch of compliments on the tone) but the mellonshooter draws attention and looks hideous. I plan on taking the axleback off and bringing it to an exhaust shop to have them weld a new one on. Can someone suggest a smaller, single barrel, similar to stock muffler? Not trying to kill my wallet either.

C/N: my cheap but well made TBE has a mellonshooter muffler, I want something smaller that an exhaust shop can replace the current muffler with, more of a stock look without being poor in the end. Thanks

Check eBay man. There are a bunch to choose from for cheap. Just find one that is as and 3 inch inlet. And you should be good.... the worst that will happen is you will need to replace it in a couple of years

magnaflow makes some attractive looking mufflers. I think the oval twin tip looks good.

Go to jegs or summit and see what they have in stock.

There was a member on SF that had a shop put a Magnaflow in place of there stock and it sounded great. I remember it was cheap too...like $60 for the muffler plus fab. I would take the aforementioned advice and see what a local auto store has available.

I submit: Flowmaster 40 series.

It's what I'll be going with when I've got the scratch.

Magnaflow mufflers are pieces of ****. They are not made with quality stainless and the packing will crap out on you in less than a year, quicker if you don't have any cats. Go with Stainless Works or the new Flowmaster Dbx Hushpower.
