Default Mini meet!

I was wondering if anyone wanted to get together some weeknight and eat some wings!! Woody's Wings on Buckley and Mexico in Aurora to be precise. Anyone interested? What are good nights?

Hey there, i would really be interested in this little meet. I would prefer going sometime on a weekday, or a sunday night, because i usually work on weekends.

Wasn't the last mini meet in Aurora. I think a different location for us North guys might make it easier to attend?

Try and have it in Boulder, that way the northern lads can make it. Maybe on a Wednesday night at The Lazy Dog on Diagonal and 28th (I think thats what its called). Same place Diz tired to use earlier for a dinner meet.

Just a suggestion, Mark

I'll go (even if we have to drive to North Denver from Aurora).

Wednesdays & the next couple of Friday nights aren't good for me. How about next week sometime?

I'm in, It just depends on the place. I'm up for just about anywhere in the denver area but get to far north and I'll have to reconsider. I'm south of denver for the next few weeks so driving to boulder would be kind of a hassle.

Ok, I guess I'll be the "jerk". This is the second Aurora area meet that I know of. First one was at Woody's Pizza on Evans and there were like 5 of us.

The meet will probably be in the Aurora area, and of course EVERYONE is welcome, but this is Nick's idea, so I'll let him speak.

Nick,
just got back in town from the cabin. I am good for the meet on mon, wed, fri, sat, or sun.

This was just a "mini-meet" right?

Well talking to Paul, he said that when he called a meet in Boulder, like 3 people showed up. And his meet and mine were like in the same week. He gave it a go. My mini meet got five people so I win, hehe. Well the problem with these mini meets is all these people commit then nobody shows up. I thank rallysquirrel, wrxlvr, his wife, and Dr. Nick? for showing up at my last mini meet. Anyway, I am open to suggestions as to where it could be, wings just sounded good to me.

Question location?

Maybe we could do it somewheres in between Saudi Aurora & the People's Republic of Boulder. Too bad parking is such a bitch downtown. A LoDo meet would be way cool.

Actually, if we had the meet around 6 or 7pm, parking downtown shouldn't be that bad. Traffic getting there is another story. The suits will have gotten off of work by then and should be cleared out, and the clubbers won't be down there yet.

Ummm, I've been to a place called (Jackson Hole?) and it was pretty good and not really packed. I think it's right by Coors field. Would more people come if it was downtown?

I nominate wrxlvr to take hold of this meet. And a place that was under 21 would be good, learned from the D&B meet.

I was hoping you wouldn't say that, but....

Which is a better night for everyone Tuesday the 30th, or Thursday the 1st? I'm thinking downtown since it seems to be more central to everyone.

Anyone have any preferences downtown? The place I suggested would allow people of all ages since it is a restaurant as well as a bar. Foods not too bad either.

I'll try to scope that location (Jackson's Hole) after work to see about parking, etc.

I think Nick just had me organize this so I can whore in RMIC some more. Like I need to get even less work done.

BTW, COWannago, are you coming?

Thumbs up

Thursday sounds good to me.

If you need a suggestion. Brother's BBQ is really good food, and they have a patio. It's on 6th and Washington (SE side).

They're pretty into cars; they have a BMW M3 and Audi S4. One of the brothers used to race for Barber Dodge and then for the Russel series.
