It will work, but you might have to move a muffler hangar or two.

I never got a final answer whether or not the mrt system fits on my MY02 Wagon. I went ahead and ordered the HEaders/Cat combo from Vividracing.com (~$370 shipped) and it should arrive 3-4 weeks from now. I'll post on it. In case your wondering am having a custom cat-back created to mate with the MRT Headers/Cat.

The headers/cat should fit. Theres only one hangar that doesnt work as far as I know, and thats on the muffler section... so if your having a custom job done, it will be coolio

BTW, dont let the muffler shop jack up the MRT stuff at all

Get a resonator unless you have a quiet muffler

Default midpipe mismatch

I tried to fit the MRT system in July.

1. The headers did fit OK (just the lambda sensor hole was too
far back so we would have to extend the wire for the sensor).

2. MRT back box was OK too.

3. but the midpipe would NOT fit because of the resonator.
When we tried to bolt the exhaust together, the resonator pushes against the bottom. MRT sent me parts for a pre-my02 (pre-my01 in Europe) thinking everything would fit :-(
But apparantly Subaru made small changes to the bottom of the
car... a custom midpipe (or some hammering on MRT's stuff) should do the trick :-)

I got the MRT headers and midpipe. Both fit great, cept the 2nd O2 sensor doesn't even fit in the headers, but that doesn't really matter. It's hooked on to a stromung exhaust.
