Default What do you to polish exhaust tips?

After I wash my car I always take a few minutes to concentrate on my exhaust tips. However on the first drive black carbon deposits ruin their shiny look. What do you use to polish your exhaust tips and are there any tips for helping them resist carbon deposits?

Turtle Wax chrome polish. Its safe for chrome and works surprisingly well. Its worth trying, it worked for me

I have q300 with titaniumtips .. I used some mother's polish on them and they are popping again. I know they will be black soon enough again =(

one of the things that will really help with the carbon build up - a good tune. I'm not sure there is any sort of product you can put on them to help. if they didn't get so hot I'd be tempted to try some wheel wax : P

+ 1 to WD40. However, one step further is to clay bar. I have had very good results with clay on exhaust tips and chrome in general.
