"350 miles per tank"

How big is the tank? I'd like to know what mpg you were seeing.

I was told by the previous owner that he took a round trip from Portland to Seattle and back and got "a little over 350 miles on a full tank, all freeway of course" before selling it to me...maybe it was an exaggerarion, but I can't confirm it since I haven't had the chance to drive all hwy miles on a full tank yet. I will assume it's a stock fuel tank tho...
I'll also remove that statement up top, 'till I can confirm it.

I have got 411a miles in one tank in the bore*ister on the way to Vegas. We regularly get over 350a on it... so 350I is deff doable all freeway miles.

i used to have a frankenmotor wagon. great do it all car. peppy enough to not be boring, sweet low end power, great mpg's, run like stock, dead nuts reliable.

i used to get 300-320 a tank which worked out to around 26 mpg. so sounds like this car should be at around 28mpg.

in my 00 2.5rs i would regularly see over 350 miles per tank. that consisted of 40% city, 60% freeway. i hit over 400 miles per tank on a road trip on one occasion

Only thing I dislike is that I gotta use 92 oct. gas to prevent detonation because of the higher CR of the engine.

Yes, depending on mileage. I got 22.8mpg in my wrx this last tank and am in the market for a daily that gets higher than that.

Anyone know the size of the tank on these wagons? I suppose I could just look it up....

I just filled up the tank w/premium(I was at the E line, no light). $49.50 @ 12.40 gallons(so it might be a 12.5 or 13 gal. tank)...I am thinking about putting the stock air box tho coz the cold air intake is acting up a bit. Changing it back will def. help get me more MPG's
