Default Tommy Kaira Shift Knob

initial impression: the shift knob is a lot smaller than the momo leather/aluminum one, doesn't fit to your hand as well.

install: really simple screw on, just like stock, BUT doesn't screw on centered :-/ so i had to use a rubber washer to place on the bottom to shorten the thread of the shifter to make the shift knob screw on tight at the desired center point.

feel while driving: is Good, it takes a little getting used to, but it's smooth, round, and pretty egronomic. it's about the size of a racketball if not smaller ..

overall impressions: not worth the price, but i'm still satisfied with the quality, feel, and length. it reduces the shifter height by almost 3/4" because the threds end at almost the top of the shift knob

will post a pic tonight.

actually, the few days i've had it in the sun it hasn't been so bad.. i've had problems w/the half carbon half aluminum momo sphere shift knob, but none w/this so far... maybe it's because this one is a lot smaller than the momo knob.. i don't know. i haven't had too many problems w/my car being too warm while in the sun, and the shape of the car helps keep a lot of the sun out.

Looks great! If I did not have the STi titanium "piston" knob, I would try this....
