Default WRC Germany - 8/19-8/21

My wife and I started planning a trip to Europe for the last two weeks in August, and then I realized that WRC Germany is the weekend we're getting there. So I adjusted our plans so we fly into Frankfurt, getting there Sat sometime, and then head to the event for whatever is left Saturday and all-day Sunday.

Basically, going to the event is going to take us ~5 hours out of our way, and I was starting to question if it would be worth it for, possibly, just Sunday after going out of the way and then buying the passes. Anybody been? Going? Worth it to just head there for Sunday? I've not been to a WRC event, just local rallies, like RallyNY, and STPR, so I have no idea.

I’m a heretic, I love WRC - on TV. I hate going to events, you see 10 seconds of a car with no idea of if it is in first or last place. But, the Germany WRC is near Trier, Luxembourg and the Mosel river valley - with a lot of good things to see there. So, go, but not just for the race.
