Default Stock '08 Catback, Pink Springs, Other Stock Suspention

I have a practically brand new(all new seals) VF40 with 18g insides. I bought this from a good friend who sent it to BNR to get all the new seals. Nothing was wrong with it before it was sent to BNR, this was just done as a friendly gesture. Since I've had it it's been sitting it the same box. The reason I'm selling is because I'm in some financial need. http://bnrsupercars.com/
$750.00 OBO

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...&highlight=bnr
Link from said friend who sold me the turbo.
"BNR Supercars VF-40 converted 18g (8cm hotside, td05 turbine wheel, 18g compressor, bored vf40 compressor housing, and mitsu center section, 11psi wastgate spring, ceramic coated hotside in and out)"

Crappy cell phone picture.

Turbo has been sold!

I also have the stock suspension from my 2008 wrx. The struts are paired with the pink springs from subarugenuineparts.com that I purchased. I'm pretty sure the driver's strut is blown too. $150.00 OBO

The struts have been sold, but the pink springs are still for sale. $200 OBO

https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...oducts_id=1363

Edit: Catback as been sold.
I also have the stock turbo back from my 2008 wrx. There's a small dent on the axle back but nothing from doing its job. $200.00 OBO Buyer must pay shipping.* DP has been sold, still have the catback.

I also have a large crate that I bought at Petsmart recently that don't think I'll be needing it anymore. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I'll give an update when I am. Sold.

I promise to post up picture as soon as I can.

Thanks,
John

Edit: 11/9/2011
I have a Tippman A5 that I've only used once. I also have a few things to go along with it. I'll post up pictures asap. Not set on a price since I don't know how much these things go for so please offer something reasonable.
Sold

Hey man, let me know what happens with that crate - I could use something for Coby while I'm at work.

PS: Just saying - this guy has my backing 100%. I don't think Mr. Foot has done anyone wrong, ever.

How does this compare to the vf52?

Edit

Sorry was on my phone before and couldnt look at the website

Looks good sending you a pm

Chaz

This is from BNRs Site-

The 18G TD05H is also close to entry level. It will not spool as well as the 16G, but the top RPM will be a little stronger, but not by much! It is also well suited for either engine. This one is also 100% bolt up.

•18G/TD05H turbine (340 WHP)

Because of financial issues, also I still needed other supporting mods which I didn't have enough to buy.

Wait, so it was initially built with the 18G wheel by BNR, blown, then rebuilt by them with new seals? How is the shaft play? PM me your bottom line shipped to 33330 on the turbo.

I'm not really understanding the first part of your question. Technically yes, it was built with the 18g wheel using the vf40 housing= hybrid turbo. It was never blown, it was just sent to get all new seals. No shaft play. It was done out of courtesy from my friend who sold it to me. I'm currently responding from my phone so ill pm you when I get home from work. I'll also post up the thread from said friend.

From what it sounds like it was rebuilt as a kind gesture before the turbo was sold to SEEK, not because of any issue.

Do him a favor, PM him a reasonable offer. Asking someone to PM their bottom line when they've already posted a price is weak sauce and annoying when there is a price already listed.

18G is what Andrewtech recommended me for a very streetable fun turbo for the 2.5 engine. That said, there's a 20G thread in Proven Power Bragging you could peruse to get more data on that setup.
