Default cobb ap dyno not working

I have a 03 wrx with vf39 and supporting mods. I have a clark turner tune runs awesome. I went to try the dyno and wouldn't work. My thing is I have a 93 jdm wrx 5 speed trans and rear diff. In 5th gear it tells me I'm in 4th. So I figured it was because it reads different anyone shead some light on this ?

As long as the transmission is fully integrated with the wiring harness and you have a working vehicle speed sensor there should not be an issue. Can you describe what is happening in detail? Are you completing the test? The AP will tell you when it is finished measuring power if you back out of the pull before the test completes it will not finish.

The dyno function relies on the ECU detecting an accurate gear position, which is not always possible after a gearing or tire height change. Fortunately our software has the table definitions for adjusting the gear determination tables, as the ECU does it by comparing engine speed and vehicle speed when the neutral position switch indicates the vehicle is in gear. If you were to send Clark specific logs of your car in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th that each include RPM and vehicle speed, he can use those to back-calculate the revs/mile and then the adjust the table as necessary :-D

Best regards-
Lance
