Subaru Banner Air Filter Replacement Options

Hey All,

I'm looking to replace my Injen X-1013 Filter that's currently on my CAI. It's pretty dirty and banged up right now, so I'm wondering if I should just go with a direct replacement, or if there are better filters out there?

the Injen filter is plastic capped on the top, so maybe an inverted cone will bring more air in? I am also planning on using a Pre-Filter over it.

It'd help if we knew if this was for your 99 Honda Civic or 2008 Duramax. Also, air filter has nothing to do with Engine Management or Tuning.
