Default MRT Full Exhuast... Check Engine Light

I am curious if anyone out there with a 2000-01 2.5RS has the MRT full exhaust and had any check engine lights. I installed this today and the car drove for probably 3 combined hours before the Check Engine light came on. Anyone know if I reset my ECU will the CE light go away? I had this problem when I installed my old exhuast and intake. I just reset the ECU and haven't had a problem since... is it that easy in this situation?

My setup is 2000 2.5RS Manual with Cobb CAI, MTR Header/Midpipe, and Stroming SS Dual Tip Mufler. The header and midpipe were both painted with flat black 1200 paint.

Thanks in advance for any info,
Scott French

Why would you delete it? I personally don't have a CEL with my MRT system. It's been about a month and no CEL. I heard people say that the 'cat. efficiency code' CEL issue happens to the second half of MY00 and earlier. FWIW, my MY00 RS was bought in Feb. 2000.

I got my Cobb and Stromung from Cobb a long time ago and I just bought the MRT used locally.

I was going to delete it because this problem is listen in the FAQ...

I got my Car December 1999.
