My tint guy's version of vinyl tail light overlays

I purchased these from Lamin-x's website and when I got the car window tinted I asked them to do the tail light covers too. Based on the complexity of the taillight contours they refused to even attempt them.

I went onto Lamin-x's website and called a local place that they suggested. I scheduled an appointment last Saturday and they got installed. As you can see they cut them differently. At first I was a little annoyed but then realized the way they were cut makes them unique. I thought I would share in case anyone else wanted to copy (it should be noted that Laminx comes all uncut unlike Bluebat's that are pre-cut from what I understand)

To fix that little mess-up you could just go to your local graphics shop and get some Oracle 8300 translucent red vinyl, and apply it to the missing part yourself. It's really really easy.

IAG's tails are the same way except the whole light is covered.

Mine is lamin-x too, done by my tint guy.

I don't get these tint guys that can't do it, take some time when you get downtime and practice. It's not that much different. My tint guy is the best though so I guess that's why he does everything

Also if you don't like it that way, you could remove those pieces very easily

looks good except for the oooopsie on the bottom.

did the same with paint.

yep, I have the IAG ones, that's how they cut and installed them.
