Default How do you feel about Progress Springs?

Found a really good deal on a set of Progress springs for the WRX for $137... it's a 1.8" drop in the front and a 1.5" drop in the rear.

I wanted to ultimately hold out for Tein SS coilovers to come out, but they still haven't been released yet. I was thinking I could save a few hundred bucks by buying springs of my choice and a set of Koni Yellows..

I know the Tein SS setup would outperform springs/adjustable shocks, but I wonder if the performance is very marginal.

Jay

Jay - you saw how my ride looked with them. They are working well for me. Ride is stiffer, less body roll, yada yada yada - you know the drill

Yeah I did like the way it looks, had the right amount of drop too.. only concern is that they actually perform... I've read that H&R sport springs actually made the car perform worse and were for only looks and not performance.. And according to the Progress Group website, the springs drop the front 1.8" and the rear 1.5" .. But on Options Auto they say it's 1.5" 1.5"..

I wish I would've taken some measurements for instances like this. My brother and I do have to reset the springs and the strtus this weekend. The front right spring is making some squeaking noises - we think that it's not set into the rubber correctly.
