Default STI 4 way adjustable struts for new WRX

Anyone interested in, or have experience with these?

I talked to rallispec, apparently they are as stiff as regular STI struts at the SOFTEST setting, and get STIFFER from there.

sounds perfect to me. They are kinda pricey, $1700. Though if we can get 5+ people together, we can get them for about $200 cheaper.

Ow! On both counts. That's stiff, baby! Wonder what the spring rates are on the matched springs?

they say they are designed to work with the regular STI pink springs.

being overdamped is no big deal.

people autocross with stock springs and Konis.

You would just leave these at the soft setting for daily driving, and you just have the exact same setup as the plain STI pink spring/strut combo.

then crank it up for autocrossing/racing

Here is what I know about them:

I bet they'd be a pretty nice setup. Expensive, but probably a very good balance of comfort and the adjustability to get serious when you "need" to

I'd be interested in picking up a set. Let me know if you can get enough people.

Thanks,
Mike
