Default Programming Voltage too low (not the standard thread)

So I'm getting the "programming voltage too low" error in ECUFlash. I have about 4 volts. Battery is charged, plenty of voltage, etc.

I have heard that in some 02's it is possible that you would need to run a 12v line to the flash block. Problem is, the company that made this harness did not find it pertinent to include the flash block, and instead they permanently jumpered it somewhere in the harness (no clue where).

So, is it possible to send 12v directly to a pin on the ECU? If so, what pin would it be?

Any help is appreciated!

I believe I saw a thread on the romraider forums about a certain version of ecu flash that ignores this error.

which version of ecuflash do you have?
if not the latest, then download, install & flash.

check all possible current draws, lights, doors, radios..you get the idea.
shut everything down and then test write first. final write/flash second..

There is latest beta versions of EcuFlash on evoscan.com, much newer versions than available on the tactrix website. Tactrix has not released a new version of EcuFlash for many many months.
