Question Blow-Off Valve VS. Warranty

Does anyone know if adding an aftermarket blow-off valve will void the car warranty? From California, I got the basic 3-year warranty.

Know of any other aftermarket mods that will not void the warranty? Please inform the lowly Beginner_Man (Yes, I'm referring to myself in third person)

Dealerships try to find any reason to 'void a warranty'...

My dealer told me that b/c I have an aftermarket suspension, I have completely voided my entire warrenty.

They said that it proves that I drive the car harder than it's meant to be...and since I supposedly drive that way, I've voided the warranty. What a joke.

The fact is that no aftermarket part will void your entire warranty. If it can be proven that the installed aftermarket part caused a failure to another part, than that part of the warranty is voided...other than that, if the dealership gives you a hard time, first try another dealership. If it fails both times, call SOA. They will send a rep out to help solve the problem.

Also, try a search next time.
