Default 2011 STi wheel flare vinyl - should I keep it?

Honestly, I'm not a fan of the Vinyl they placed on the rear wheel flares or "hips" if you will. If you're close to the car at first it almost looks like the car is scratched. The questions of "what is that???" is getting old lol. I am considering getting Rally Armor's, if I get those can I remove the Vinyl pieces w/o it showing paint fade marks or should I just keep it? I'd imagine it should be ok since the car is so new. If I keep it, what's the best way to keep them looking good?

I put it in this part of the forum since I wasn't sure if it belonged here or in Interior/Exterior. Mods, feel free to move this if it should be moved. Let me know what you guys think.

If you value the paint in that area you will leave it on. That area gets sandblasted.

Yes, keep it there. It will save your fenders from being blasted.

get the rally armors and keep the protectors on, some debris will still find its way there. I would rather have a knick in the vinyl then the paint.

You better keep it.. Its the only spot on the lower car that doesnt look like crap because of the sand and salt.

Better to have pits and scratches in the vinyl than in your paint.

+1 on the mudflaps.
