I'm personally not in favor of postings about factory alarms locations and how they are set up for security reasons.. Just kinda makes it easy for thieves to get information...

My $0.02

Hi,

is there anyone here that installed the h7100ls400 kit?

The lights aren't blinking when locking/unlocking/alarming, but the only mention of that is in the in the 100 kit alarm installation notes and owner's manual.

The alarm does work as described - just no lights

Cheers,

Roger

p.s.

This car has a remote starter if that makes a difference.

is that kit a security upgrade option on subaru.. or is it aftermaker alarm?

If it's OEM upgrade option.. you might be in the vallet mode.. otherwise it should blink...

To get out of vallet..

Open drivers door
depress and hold Unluck/Disarm button for more than 2 seconds
Dash-mounted light will flash once every 2 seconds...

If you are in vallet mode.. light will flash double every 2 seconds..
