Hah! Thats funny Richard, because #2 is a car that I had planned for a future quiz.

So I won't spoil it for everyone.

Let's just say that it is a real STAR CAR!!

Mike

P.S. My next one will be more challenging than the last 2.

Well, you can start by hanging out at the Barnes and Noble and reading the Classic Brit mags.

Anyone have info on the Austin Marina? I always wanted a 'B sedan!

#2 might be a Sunbeam....but I thought they only made the Stilleto version..which was the fast back.

#3 I'm not very good with cortinas

#8 The Abarth should be a 1000, since it has a front mounted radiator. The 750 and 850 powered ones kept the side mounted rear radiator....but who knows.

Can't get more specific on the Opel or the Vauhxall thingy.

Cool

I'll put everyone out of their "misery" with number 2.. It's actually a Singer Chamios, which was the "upmarket badge engineered version"

The Cortina is the 1600E version. Again an upmarket "Executive" version based on the GT model. Pretty quick on country roads in it's day.

# 8 I've got listed as an Abarth 850TC

Right then only #'s 5,6 * 7 to sort out

Hint: #5 is probably the most famous of the Holden models oh and number 7 is NOT a Vauxhall of any sort..
