Got mine on my hatch, a little uneven on both sides because I couldnt do it myself. I got 37.5in so water can drain through the back.

You know what they say, opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one... and they all stink.

I don't mind it on the hatch. It is subtle enough to blend in.

^^^ thank you kind sir.

I loved the older ms3 with a lip on their spoiler. Ours weren't designed to do the same but it is subtle and I think it blends in nicely with the other black accents on the car.

I don't mind if you don't like it. Everyone have different tastes and thats why we don't all drive corollas.

Wow.. people said these shipped fast, but I didn't believe how fast it could actually get here from Taiwan! It took a few tries by myself to get it to sit right, but I think it looks damn good for the $$$. I'm a couple mm to the right of center, but I don't think you could tell unless examining it super close. Mine also came in a box that was a bit crumpled, but really the only thing in there is the piece, so it was totally fine. Paint match is perfect. Alright enough talk, here's the pics!

im trying to improve the aerodynamics a bit....i dont care a rats ass for this as a 'visual' mod....just like that cheap lip i got..... GREAT bang for the buck aero aid ...im still shocked at how much better the car drives with that stupid cheap lip

and if this damned deck spoiler thing will help settle the rear end at speed a bit

i dont really wanna do a diffuser.....but will if this lil lip doesnt do what I want.....but THAT is a LOT more $$$ and prone to off road damage

couple things i gotta figure out......for the GD trunk lid

what length???

am i gonna want to go full width of the lid or just do the 'flat' part between the outboard 'angles'???

am i gonna want to mount it up higher or more on the rear edge??

if i get the full width length and wanna cut it to just do the flat section...what is it gonna look like???

do i wanna try it 'backwards'...ie...more on the upper, aft, vertical surface???

i guess i gotta go out and LOOK at the car a bit.....and im sure that heating it up a bit with a hairdryer will make it conform to the shape of the lid where the 'angles' are...and a bit of carefully applied clear RTV would seal it up if necessary.

mmmmm....wonder what kind of effect it would have if mounted on the aft edge of the roof, above the rear window???

maybe i need to find out...cheap enough, for sure...i could do BOTH for under $100......

I've been thinking of possibly ordering another to experiment with a roof vane/spoiler idea.

My lip really formed better after a few days in the sun and me pressing down on it from time to time

ok...i just went out in the dark and did my best with a tape measure....

the gd lid seems to be right at 124.5cm/49 1/4" wide across the aft, upper edge
the 'flat' surface part of the deck lid at the aft edge, between the 'bends' is about 99cm/39"
and the aft edge of the roof above the rear window is about 104cm/41"

i dont think id do it on just the 'flat' surface of the lid....the bends are easy enough to make that option unnecessary, i think

well...it was 105+ here today

im gonna order 2.....one for the roof and one for the whole width of the deck lid and go from there

easy enough to install/remove and in and out for under $100???

hell yeah......

cheap mods FTW, Alex

If you span the whole decklid it will look weird over the humps trust me... I tried it and cut to the middle but I know you're trying to use it for force, and if so I wouldn't 3m it on I would try to screw it down?

Good luck hope I that helps.

Only took 9 days from order to arrive at my house. Paint looks better than the factory paint on my car. The double stick tape holds it on there very solidly.

Would highly recommend.
