and pictures... why do we have so many questions? this would have been a good thread for people to look through and see what others have done and what they needed to do to make it fit but now we gotta wade through all these questions! I don't even think people should post "that looks good" replies in this thread..

am I wrong or can we go back to the original format?

does anyone think im going to have issues running 18x8.75 +35 XXR 527's with 245/40 Federal SS595's? i feel like im going to have a rough time because the tires are wide.

Im also doing my ISC Coilover install when i put the wheels/tires on. any advice as to what im looking forward to?

Edit: my rears are rolled currently from the previous owner.

It really depends how low you go. Also get an alignment to dial in at least -1* of camber up front and rear is not adjustable but will be okay.

well im buying the rear camber plates with them when i pick them up this week. so i can run camber in the rear if needed. i want a low, but functional ride. as close as possible to the WRB Rota T2R STi....

http://www.wheeldude.com/wdg/_detail...age=6459_4.jpg

i realize there is some stretch on that setup, and i probably will not have any stretch.

You complain about people crowding the thread with useless posts...

and you post this?

The point of this thread is to post pictures AND to ask questions - we didnt need 1000 threads of "will this fit".

I apologize.

Update: Put coilovers in and raised it a bit in the rear so that it doesn't rub, gonna get some camber on it at some point and try to lower it a bit more.

18x9 rota gforce with 225/40 bfgoodrich gforce kdw's with rolled rear fenders and bc br coils

Sorry for the bad image it's from my phone and through a window

Hey guys. Just looking to eliminate the wheel gap. First time coilover buyer and aggressive wheel setup. What do I need to do to make this work?

year: 2007
model: WRX
wheel model: Rota Grid
wheel size/offset: 18x9.5 e38
tire brand/model: still looking
tire size: 245/40/18
suspension: BC BR Coilovers w/ rear camber plates and camber bolts
alignment: -2 degrees all around or -1.5 all around
fender mods: hoping to only roll

Roll at least.. Pull depends on height. Won't do much for wheel gap.

If you want to eliminate wheel gap, lower the car.

Thinking about picking these up from a buddy. They came off a S14. Im going to replace the tires if i get them so the tire size is flexible. Any ideas or any fitment issues you think will arise?

Some help please. Just way too much to sort through.

2012 WRX Sedan.

Thinking 18x9.5 +20 Forgestars

Don't want to have to do any fender mods. Stock suspension atm, but Fortune 500 Coilovers in the very near future.

Will this work without fender mods? What size tire?

Thanks so much.

Year: 04
Model: wrx
Wheel:tc105n
Wheel size: 17x8 +42 or 17x9 +35
Tire size: 245/40
Suspension: stock for the moment

So another newb looking for some directions guys. I'm looking at a set of tc105n's for my 04 wrx. Was originally thinking 17x8 +42 but now ravspec has a group buy up for 17x9 +35 for the same price. I know the 17x9's are doable but wondering what would be the better set up from a performance/correct fitment mindset and definetely want to avoid a stretch and poke setup. Don't mind having to slightly roll fenders but don't want to have to pull them. At the moment on stock suspension but plan on running rce tarmacs with front camber plates in the near future. Tire wise I was thinking of running 245/40. Suggestions? Thanks in advance

I would run proper fitment. 235/40. I feel like the sidewalls fold in too much in corners. Turning will be easier as well. I have one size bigger tires on my car and honestly I hate it. It's personal preference though.

Suspension: JDM Spec C's with Espelir Springs

Finally got my wheels and I am now looking at tires. I was going to go with Federal ss595 in a 17/40/235, but they are hard to find. So I am not thinking of going with with a 245 wide tire. Are they any out there that are true to the 245 width? I want to do very little as far as rolling goes but I want a proper fitment.

Friend of mine is running Potenza Re760 sport tires in 245/40 on a 17x9 +38 with lowering springs and aftermarket struts with no problems.

Ok so I have been looking through this post for a couple of days now. I have an 05 Sti and I want to lower it with Tein s-tech springs (1.7 in the front and 1.5 in the back). The wheels that I want to order is drag dr-34 with a 47mm offset. My question is what tire size should I go with without it rubbing. I'm trying to avoid any fender roll or pulling of the fender (not that am against it or anything). Any help is appreciated.
