hey another noob that has a question, been looking at new rims and i like the varrstoen track 200 series the specs are
size 18 width 8.5 offset 45 5x100 bore 56.1
was wondering if these would fit on my 2002 wrx, on eibach springs. im expecting to have to roll the fenders but was hoping to avoid pulling them. let me know any input, oh also if anyone would have a good idea for a tire that would fit without rubbing. thanks i really appreciate any help

Has anyone heard any reviews about Fast Wheels Hayaku? I'm looking at the 18x8.0 +40 for my 04 WRX. I haven't heard anything about these rims before though so I was wondering if anyone else has?

Not too aggressive. Def wont need to pull. Tires are hard to suggest are you looking to stretch? Want them beefy? Etc.

Quick offset question. Looking at a set of Volk RE30 in 17x8 +38mm offset. The ideal offset for this size, according to Rays, is +44mm and the stock Enkies are +50mm('07 Limited). What sort of issues will I run into with an extra 6mm? I'm thinking they will be 6mm further out(away from center). Will be running the stock size 225/45/17 tires.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

So are you looking to do 38 or 44?

Looking at +38 but Rays recommends +44; for 17x8 sizing.

Any input on how difficult fitment would be for 18x9.5 +32 wheels with 255/35R18's?

Willing to roll and pull, but don't want to run crazy camber. I'm more function over form, but form is important too

I have not looked at this whole thread yet, but I would like to know if the
TSW Nurburgrings would fit my 2006 wrx with Brembo Calipers. Their dimensions are 17x8 offset +45, 5x100 of course.

too low of offset if you want to functionally run that much tire.

Year: 1997
model: STI sedan
wheel model: rota grid
wheel size/offset: 17x9 +35
tire size: 225/45/17
suspension: Cusco zero 2 coilovers

From what ive read, the fronts shouldnt need any modification, I can't say I'm 100% certain about that though. Suppose I stiffen the coilovers, get a degree or 2 of negative camber (whatever I can without plates), and have the rear quarters rolled flat.

How much of a pull will I need to prevent this setup from rubbing?

Will I be able to manage 245/40 with nearly the same amount of modification?

Just wanting to know if this tire size would be alright for the rim, I have a set of almost new tires and would rather not buy new ones.

suspension: HSD HR COILOVERS
alignment: Not yet determined
fender mods: rolling. pulling?
spacers: yes/no? size? Yes, at least 10 mm Ichiba Hub centric

Wheels should be in soon and wont be installed in the summer. On the GR models, there are no camber plates for rear coils which is why I wanted to ask if people think that natural camber should be enough. Not planning on slamming the car, just avoiding wheel gap as it currently sits. Will I need to purchase rear lower control arms to adjust camber?

Also, I would like to know what people think of a 235x35x18 tire to fit the wheels. 10mm spacers min. will be required to clear the front brembos. Thanks in advanced everyone!

Wheels are flush, no poke, stretch tires allow for pretty decent tuck. I get to post in both motorsport and form > function fitment threads =D
i have the same as you exept my wheels are 18x8.75 (xxr weird size) and im on a stock everything else but i wanted your opinon on coils, being that you have a near same setup. i was looking at megan coils and bc racing coild because the are cheap

Hey guys, I have been reading through this thread and just wanted to get some confirmation on the tire and rim combo that I am thinking about running this summer.

year: 2012
model:STI
wheel model: Work Emotion XD9
wheel size/offset: 18x9 +38 or +43
tire brand/model: Stock Dunlops
tire size: 245/40/18
suspension: GTWorx Bilsten cup kit w/ RCE yellows

Will this set up fit with the suspension without having to do fender work? Also, if I were to go with the +38 offset will I need spacers up front to clear the brembos? Some posts in this thread seem to say yes, a spacer is needed and others say a spacer is not needed. Any clarifications would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

that's an inch and a half larger than stock. way too tall. you went from a 25.5 inch tire to a 27 inch tire. it's like a 5% change to the odometer reading too. that's the tire size is am going to run on my 09 Foz XT
