Probably won't need any more work. If it does, it won't require much.

I would roll the rear fenders but you might not have to. Someone recently posted that they don't rub with an 18x9.5 +40 and 265s.
really.. i just hope it won't rub. thanks!

Model. 2009 impreza 2.5i hatch
Wheel size. 18x8.5
Current tires. 215 35r18
Suspension. Stock

Tires are stretched a bit much for my liking. Also I want to fill more of the wheel opening without any rubbing issues or doing any rolling or cutting splash shields. I've been looking on this thread but still confused. What should I run?
225/40 235/40??
Please help!!! Looking to buy rubber this week

I wasn't sure the offset so I looked online how to measure and calculate. And I came up with an offset of 63.5. Does that sound normal if so hopefully someone can help me with what tire size I can get in there without problems or mods thanks. -Jerry

et63.5? Either you read wrong, or you ordered the wrong wheels. Those will not fit. Period.

Thank you for replying. I must be confused. Is et the offset? Meaning if the back of my wheel has an "et48" the offset is 48? Everytime I do the measuring method I come up with 63.5. I am a wheel newbie please clarify to me. Haha also the wheels came with 215/35r18. I test fit them and they fit no problem no rubbing. But I am buying new rubber and want 235/40r18. If those slightly stretched tires fit the tire difference should make that big of a difference should it? Thanks

What are you measuring that gives you 63.5?

Only shaved front and rear fenders (no pull)

Need help determining whether I can squeeze mb battles 17x9 with 225/45/17 without any rub .. Front looks like no issue .. Rears are where I'm concerned .. Especially with more play on mushy suspension .. HELP

Offset? +15's will require more modification or less tire.

Either way that will look gay as **** if you aren't fender on rim.

+30 will be fine with a roll all around (or shave).

Just saying it won't look even close to how you think it will.

Best is to just move the TPMS over from the original wheels. Least amount of trouble and cost.

Ok so I have done my research and used the search bar a plenty. I have also called bc racing personally. I have a set of bc br standard coilovers for my 12' hatch. I also have 18x9.4 + 34 varrstoen es1 wheels. My concern is that I want low. I am trying to figure out lowest height on bc br standard coils and minimum drop height on bc br extreme low. I can send my coils to bc to exchange for extreme low. How much lower are he extreme low compared to standard? Any input is appreciated.

Question Need advice please.

Want to get some new wheels/tires with my tax money. Running stocks right now. Not looking to drop it very low or anything crazy. Just need some of the experts here to let me know what is the widest wheel I can go, lowest offset and ofcourse tires.
Thanks in advance!
For a 2005 STi:
Stock Struts/Lowered Springs(Eibach)
Rolled Fenders (All 4)

I am reluctant to ask, but I will anyway, What is a "2010 Female Driven
STi Special Edition"? Did this one come with a chauffeur?

17s or 18s?

18x9.5 +35-38 with a 245/35-40 or 255/35 tire should fit with only a little bit of camber adjustment.

Here ya go little buddy...
This is a 2010 'Female' (cause 'I' drive it) STi. SE cause they only made a limited number for that year/color. Oh and thank God it doesn't come with a chauffeur.
Now back to my question, asking 'cause my project car is an '05 STi i'm working on. (Yes I have 2.) Pays to work hard ya know, that's why when you say 'lazy', hmm, I don't think so. Anyway, just trying to figure out how wide can I go on that '05. Thanks in advance.
