Ok here's the deal. I purchased some konig 17" 5x100 +45 offset. That's what should fit. Get the wheels to the shop and they fit over lugs but studs are right against the inner hole of the "lug hole" no way for a lug to go on. Has anyone run into this? 09 impreza 2.5i 4dr no mods... Yet. What's the fix here? I can't be the first one to have this happen, but can't get any solid info anywhere. I'd rather not use spacers but will. Or did they change the spec for 09? Thanks in advance.

I am not sure with subys but here's a trade secret. 1) make sure the TPMS light is out <--IMPORTANT
2) bust down ur tires including spare tire , remove sensors and replace with rubber stems.
3) take Tpm sensors (all 4 ) and throw them in your spare tire
4) install spare onto spare rim, pump up psi
Now the wheel style TPMS sensors will think all psi is ok, no light on ever... Unless the spare goes flat.

So Im a big noob when it comes to wheel setups and stance. I really only know performance, so I need help. Please and thank you!
year:2011
model:WRX (hatch)
wheel model:Work Emotion XD-9
wheel size/offset:18x10 +38
tire brand/model: I'll do the research after I find the size...
tire size:225/40/18? (suggestions?) Dont know what would look good while still being functional.
suspension:Still looking which I really need/want (will take suggestions)
alignment:suggestions.
fender mods:willing to roll
spacers: I want to get 20mm spacers for just the rear, if that works. (to keep it aggressive, and still being able to rotate tires haha)

You have a lot to learn. Stop looking at wheels, start reading this thread and the other fitment threads.

There will be nothing functional about what you posted.

year: 2005
model: STI
wheel model: Rays Gramslight DR57
wheel size/offset:18x9.5 +38
tire brand/model: Toyo r888
tire size:265/35/18
suspension: BC Racing BR coilovers
alignment: minimal camber targeted for street to maximize the little tire life I will get, probably 2.5* or so for track days
fender mods: what will be needed? Will a roll/pull be enough? I'm only concerned about functionality when it comes to ride height and being flush.
spacers: hopefully none

Lol, you've got them in the wrong holes then. Mine are both bolt patterns also & will do the something. Just put them in the other holes.

That is the only thing I can think of that it could be. The 09 WRX is 5x100 just like the rest of them. Just try it again & let me know.

1. Chock, not chalk.
2. I wouldn't trust a CV axle to support a car.
Those are just minor quibbles. Otherwise, I agree 1000% and would never get underneath a car not or ramps or jackstands.

Probably something about the 20mm spacer in the rear, for starters.

can anyone tell me if/how i could make a set of 17x9.5 with 255/40 fit on a 2006 sti with coils? would it fit with rolling all corners and keeping the fenders raised 1/2" - 1" above the tires?

Um... Autocorrect got me with chock and you don't put axles stands on the axle... You can use them on any area that is fit like lift points, sub frame, sills control arms etc and an axle would be perfectly suitable aswell.

Just tried again... No luck , it seems the 5x100 holes are straight thru holes with no lip or chamfer for the wheel nuts to bite. So I guess I need adapter? I've never run into this before. Thoughts?

Are you using OEM lugs? Pic of the problem?

New to forum, can't figure out how to add pic. No lugs aren't used.. Studs are tight to the inside of the 5x100 bolt pattern and the holes are straight thru without a chamfer so even if studs were centered in the hole a lug nut wouldn't hold the rim on anyway. I think it may be a defect from factory.. And didnt notice cuz only 114.3 was used until now.

just because its stamped as dual, doesn't mean it is.

if the holes are straight through with no chamfer or recess, it is not a dual drilled wheel.
