Who makes good gauges, and who makes bad?
There's a lot of gauges out there, and in my opinion, the only thing worse than not knowing what your car is doing is being fed incorrect information. I'd really like to know which manufacturers produce quality, accurate gauges, and which ones produce eBay ****e. I know the FAQ lists several, but it doesn't specifically mention any to avoid. Here's the list as I understand it, please correct me if I'm wrong:
Auto Meter: ????
Prosport: Hit-or-miss, but excellent customer service
Stewart Warner: Aircraft gauges (Good?)
STRI: Chinese Defi knockoff (Bad?)
Please also let me know if I missed any major manufacturers! Thanks!
