Post Will 225/50 fit on my WRX for autoxing?

I am about to buy Autocross tires for my new WRX and was wondering if anyone knew if the 225 would clear the suspension and fenders on the WRX? Does anyone run this size on their RS?

Note: I am mounting these tires on a 50mm offset wheel.

Thanks

16's or 17's?

I run 225/50-16 Kumho V700's for autoX on stock rims. Had a slight rubbing problem in the rear durring corners but not anymore (weird, and it's not because a groove has been cut in the tires ). Also, I'm on a very stiff suspension.

Can't asnwer you question about the WRX since I haven't seen one (don't know how big the fenders are), nor do I know how soft the suspension is.

I have tried the 225/50/16 V700 on the WRX and they fit just fine.
