bad launches, but no where to practice.

My problem is that I live 2 hours from the closest race track. I had some free time the other day so I made the trip to thunder valley in bristol tn. Made one run and it began to rain. I have the txs stage 4 kit, the lag in this kit is much more than the stage 2 I was use to. Could anyone give some advice on a good rpm to launch from, my time was

60' 2.57- horrible
et 14.66
trap 98.5

Yeah, the biggest reason I haven't gone stage IV is I hate the lag in the stock turbo a VF30 or VF34 will only be worse down low. I think to launch well you'll have to rev high 5K or maybe redline. Lots of 12 second TurboXS stage IV runs though (I have been looking at this kit since it came out). Why don't you Email Phil at TurboXS and ask what he recommends for a launch.

Actually the biggest reason I haven't done it is that my WRX got totaled, while it was parked! but I'll have a new one in about a month *YEAH*
