The JDM V7 ECU in the Fozzie swap is untouched by RR but both times Aircare plugged their OBD reader in, it doesn't detect that the car is running. I brought the Fozzie to the Richmond test facility for the second attempt, the supervisor had to override that portion of the test so it can pull the status of the emission control devices from the ECU.

For my car with a JDM V7 ECU and ECUTek from RR, the Aircare OBD reader can sense that my car is running and completes the OBD test suites.

Both cars never went on the rollers, they were tested with their OBD reader. Both cars use the ECU version but I don't know why one ECU doesn't allow the Aircare OBD reader to query the ECU about the engine status and one ECU does. Must be some RR voodoo magic.

The Fozzie will eventually go to RR for a dyno tune so jchretien can eventually listen to his EWG vent.

Looking at picking up an ej20t and 5 speed from a 00' JDM Forester to swap into my 99 Forester with dead 4eat and 360,000km tired ej25. Will definitely be in contact with you for some advice!

Ej20t will not have odb2 for aircare. You may want to do some research into that. Best bet is V7 ej207 and 6spd

For your car, whoever put ecutek on for you is the only one who can put it back to stock

And yes I'm on ecutek too.
