Post 3 rally cars at O`Hare intnl. airport

My friend works at Ohare airport in Chicago and he told me that he seen 3 rally cars that came in from Europe.
1 open group Impreza came from Belgium in KLM cargo, and 2 Lancers in Lufthansa.
Looks like there`s some competition coming from Europe. I wonder how accurate the entry list is????

Anyways... just my 411

Nothing rally related gets by Greg...

It's my Impreza...I told them I wanted it on the 22nd not the 20th...bastards...

Very interesting...I wonder if TAD going to prep these??? It seems odd that they'd fly them into ORD if they weren't going to be prepped locally. If it were VTCar, I'd assume that it'd be like JFK in NY or someplace on the East Coast.

So if the cars are for TN, then why are they landing @ O'Hare, does'nt TN have an airport?

Just thought thats the next logical question?

Rallykid:

Actually, I doubt Tennesee has an international airport. I suppose they might fly to Canada, but again I doubt it.

Atlanta would be the logical choice to fly the cars in for the Cherokee Rally. However, it also depends on where the teams are based and where their support is.

Chicago is by no means closest, but for international air cargo, it is BY FAR the cheapest. O'Hare has tons of intl' terminal shipping and recieving.

These cars are ready to go, and TAD knows nothing about them. I assume it`s going straight to Cherokee..., but who???

ColinL-
You doubt Tennessee has an Int'l airport? Nashville? Memphis? There's a small business based in Memphis you may have heard of, they go by the name FedEx...
