I'm interested in the Defi VSD HU display. What's you opinion of it, in terms of functionality? Did you decide to replace it with gauges?

I know this is obsolete/superceded Defi products, but I'm stuck with Defi Link V2 gauges since I bought them new in 2004 and never installed them.

There are many things I liked about this unit. I liked it gave me information in eyes view, instead of looking down for it. I didn't like that it didn't give you multiple readouts at once. So that's a down side, I think it has mostly technical driving advantages by displaying speed and rpms up high, so you don't have to "look" for it. It does get attention because other can see the info at night on the glass.

I had this on my 2010 lgt, there are no good gauge pods for the car so it was great. My new sti will get the new ati click pod.

So you can use all of your v2 sensors on this, which is a plus.

It comes with the controller. I believe the ACU is for a different device.
