I've been thinking of wrapping vs re-painting. Curious about the cost as well. My bugeye is looking a little worn out these days in the front end don't know if I want to spend the dough on a repaint. Looks real good so far.

Don't leave it on too long. I did my car year ago and it was hell getting off.

The vinyl breaks off in tiny pieces on the areas exposed to the sun and the larger pieces will cause the panels to ripple when you pull the vinyl off.

Make sure you park it in the shade.

That is usually common with low quality vinyl

Did you buy the 60"x25 yard roll and is that enough to finish the car? Left over?

The front bumper is going to be hell i bet. Im no pro with vinyl but have done some small jobs for friends and myself. But Ive played with wrapping the vents on the sides of the bumper and havn't been able to do it. Ive tried many times and just could not do it. If you can do it I would love to see how you did it just to help give me an idea on how to do more complex parts. Maybe im asking for to much, but video??

I'm actually wrapping the front bumper right now. Literally half way done. It's not fun but it's working.

Honestly the material has a lot to do with it. What vinyl are you using?

Wow. This looks incredible. How much time do you have into it? Did you leave all the pieces on the car or did you take off the bumper and pull out the panels, etc?
