That is absolutly amazing, I love every inch of the flat black. Totally my dream car. I want to do my 2011 wrx sedan like that but was worried about the price. But seriously man, insanely sick!!!

Sorry my comment was directed at taking a SWP to flat black ... which might look a bit off.

Yours looks crazy awesome Very nice job!!

Maybe someday in the future I might consider this undertaking

Do the tails have lens covers or are they tinted?

they are dark, but the LED's shine through clearly even in daylight.

in all honesty i plan on sanding them back down and then just doing a lighter tinted overlay

Given that I'm a perfectionist, I would say I'm 20 hours of work in 4 days

I've never been a fan of tinted tail lights, but its safe to say that I think this is the first time I have ever liked it. I think that it goes well with the matte black vinyl.

Looks great! Some window tint, and cleared (and) blacked out headlights would really top this car off.

thanks! window tint is next week... i plan on doing the proper HID retrofit as well so the headlights will be blacked soon.

a couple people have asked to see my previous job, so here is the forester i just traded in for the WRX (it was wrapped with arlon vinyl via water application, the vinyl was lower quality so it couldnt conform to the front bumper/hood scoop/ real spoiler. so those where plasti dipped)

The forester would look better with blacked out Supertones.
