Default Got my fender rust fixed

As everyone knows, rust = car cancer
I certainly took my time getting this fixed, but now that I have I'm really happy I did.

I was a little nervous because I hadn't used this shop before, but I think it turned out nicely. I didn't take any good wide shots so you can't see, but the color is good and matches the rest of the car too. I'm happy it turned out so well

I dropped it off on Monday before work, and picked it up yesterday (tuesday) after work. It ended up being ~$290, which was what they quoted me, so no surprises. Ideally I won't have to, but if I need to I would use the place again.

The real question is how the fix was done. Did they weld in new metal or use some form of bondo?

Default U paid?

Thought Subaru takes care of any all rust repairs? Was it necessary to pay?

mprezme, really? If this is really true lmk.

Well like hakira said it's been almost 2 years now, and the unfortunate news is that it looks like the rust is coming back at a slow pace. I hadn't thought to check after the winter until yesterday, but there is definitely a little bubbling of the paint only on the very lowest spot. The good news is that it isn't anywhere near as bad looking as I let it get last time, and there still isn't rust anywhere else .

I'll take it back to the same shop as last time and see if they won't cut me a good deal seeing as the work didn't stick forever and I have to get my rear bumper repainted again anyway, but I don't expect much.
