Default K2 Crossfire (top end) skis/bindings - SUMMER CHEAP!

Price dropped - need to sell for some mod money!

I work at a ski shop (Ski Chalet) in the winter, so can wait until then and sell for more, but could use some modding money right now so they're up for alot less than I can get for them at a retail storefront.

So...These are K2 Apache Crossfire in 174cm length. This is K2's top east-coast/groomed snow ski. It is advanced to expert level and in this length is most appropriate for someone in the 160-200lb range, depending on skill level. If you want to be the fastest on the mountain, these lock in at very high speeds even on hardpack ice.

The Crossfire usually comes with a "system plate" with a Marker binding but for the sake of performance I special-ordered these "flat" and put much lighter and more responsive Salomon 9:12's on them with a driver plate. This is a MUCH better setup than the standard system binding in my experience.

Condition: They have some scuffs and scrapes on the topskin (it's black, it happens), but otherwise are in excellent condition. I'm a longtime ski tuning tech and take care of them myself. Crystal Glide stoneground base, edges are excellent, and they currently have a all-temp handwax on them. Bevel is a standard "performance recreational" edge angle.

But they will look bling on the slopes and on your roof rack, if that's a concern of yours The new Crossfires (SAME ski, different graphics) are not nearly as good-looking.

Also since I work at Ski Chalet, if you buy my skis for asking price I'm sure we can work out a deal for me to tune/repair/wax them a couple times (within reason!)....that's $50+ if you're paying for it. We can discuss offline.

Asking $300 (posted on CL for $330). That will get you an entry-level beginner ski/binding at most shops. Here it will get you top of the line.

Always cleaned and stored in climate-controlled area. Wood core is fresh (no core shots) and edges are not pitted or rusty

bump....next month I sell these out of the shop (ski chalet) for $100 more than I have them here. This is the price of an entry-level (lame) ski setup new, and these are in top-notch condition.

Remember, they're the same ski as the current-year Crossfire. But instead of lame orange and black graphics these actually have the better old-school graphics

will entertain offers as well....

lol..

Oh, forgot to mention to anyone who buys them - I will adjust the bindings to your boots and do an electronic release check for free. That's about a $50 value also
