Default 24 Hours of lemons - Gingerman

Some of the action on Sunday afternoon after 14.5 hours of racing.

Driver: Myself, still need to learn some better lines according to some "Drifter"
Car: 1990 Acura Integra with over 232,000miles on the clock.
Place: 10th overall out of 65 entries
8th Class "A".

Car run with no major problems except blew a few CV boots, repaired on Sunday morning with hot dog plastic wrapper, some duct tape and cable ties. Since it lasted all Sunday might leave it on for the Autobahn October event .

Most of the bushings are dry rotted, slowly replacing the bushings with home made bushings, as the rules are fairly tight on what you can spend on your car. Max worth $500. Spend more on brake pads for the Subaru for Road America trackday. These Integra's are cheap to run.

What kind of motor do you have in it? just a regular LS? I had my 96 civic coupe with a b16a2 and full skunk2 suspension on a track here in AZ all by myself and it was a ton of fun but it was a road car, your car looks to be a track only car. Good stuff man!

Just a standard motor that came with the 1990 Integra, 1.8L B motor if that makes sense. The only thing we did was install a new fuel/air filter, new timing belt, plugs and wires. Also hard to install a new cheap fuelf tank as the old one was rusted out.

It has a home made exhaust made from stainless pool ladder. These motors seem to be strong and like to be worked hard.
