I know its a long shot but I guess it wouldn't hurt to offer and help a team go for win.

We could ALWAYS use more help. You may be a gofer and not receive anything but crap food and pats on the back for your efforts.

Caddies are more than just golf carts with legs... they actually offer valuable input on club selection, reading greens, etc. What they're asking of you is more along the lines of "towel boy" or "ball washer"

considering my teammate decided to do a bunch of dumb changes, we're still trying to get the car together. I have a bad feeling about this.

I'll be down in Danville Saturday to pick up a rollbar for my s2k. I might have to stop by and watch the race for a little bit.

were you all in that little RS that pancaked the tire wall at like 4am?

In other news, I'd like to say that those trophies are HEAVY! We finished in 2nd place!!! after a LONG 24 hours. I had the noon-2pm shift and the 2-4am shift.

Driving at night is AMAZING. I did however nearly freak out when it started raining... but that stopped before really getting the track wet.

My subie chump/lemons car project will be starting at the end of this month.

I did end up stopping by the track on my way home and checked out the race for a little while. It looked like a lot of fun and was pretty cool to see the different combination of vehicles out there. I really liked the red pickup truck. I swear on the long straight that thing passed 2 cars almost every lap. Sounded good too
