Default 1.2 bar turbo actuator on a td04

Hey guys I was wondering if i could just put a 1.2 bar actuator on my td-04 and skip the BCS? My car suffers from crazy boost oscilation at half throttle. doesn't matter if I run on the stock map or the Cobb stage 2. Ive replaced the bcs already and some of the vaccum lines but nothing seems to settle it down. I even messed with the wastegate preload.

I have no problem hitting target boost but the surges from full boost to 10psi make the car a pain to drive smoothly.

Car is stage 2 with a Catless DP and 3" all the way back.

thanks for your help.

If you have a APv1 you can log using Romraider.

Bad idea. Is this a generic Cobb tune or did you get it done by a local tuner? If its fine under wot then its probably just the tune being doo doo for street driving on your vehicle. Getting a flutter then a backfire by chance?

flutter no, backfire yes. The map is an ots map. So would a 1.2 bar actuator be bad? I figure that way it would have to hold boost until 17lbs before opening, right?
