Sounds very interesting. Have never did a TSD. Where is it being held? Any sites for more info? Maybe.

hit scca.org , and look under there. I can't recall the exact link, but it's under the Central Division Road Rally.

I'll let ya know more when I do. It's up just west of Madison.

Here's another one not this weekend, but next. I'm gonna see if my navigator wants to run it. If so, I'll be there too:

Sounds like fun, I'll have to make a note to check with my navigator.

i've gotta post. i did my first TSD this past sunday. it was billed as brisk but it was deathly boring. sure, the senery was nice, but damn, i had to slow down for 1 turn in 2.5 hours. the roads just begged to be driven at about twice the average speed that i had to maintain. i gave it a try, but i think i'll stick to auto-x and personal driving until i can put together a club rally beater.

here's the latest info from the rallymaster.

I'm hoping
to have all the event info, flyers, and entry forms up on the WAG website next
week- I'll send you another e-mail when it's up.
At this point, I should reiterate that WGT VI is NOT a stage type rally- I
hope you're not expecting it to be one. That said, what I can promise you is
that this will be as close to a performance rally as can be reasonably done on
open roads and obeying all traffic ordinances. I still strongly reccommend you
get and read Clint Goss's book.
Thanks again for your interest and enthusiasm- I'm hoping to get an
experienced navigator to hold an informal rally clinic on Fri. night before
the rally- I'll keep you posted.
