Default What about staying NA?

Everyone knows I have the 93 Impreza L. So what does everyone think about me keeping it all NA? With no NOS!?

If you do all the mods listed below, it is acceptable.

Catback exhaust
SS Headers
Random Tech High flow cat
Cobb Cams
Lightened pulleys
Performance ACT clutch
Cobb Cold Air Intake
ProECM Powerchip

After these mods are installed, you will have a pretty quick little NA Subaru in my opinion.

It will cost less than a turbo too, with less aggravation.

Hudson: He has a 1.8, not a 2.5

So I would have to say to get an EJ22 for $400 or an EJ25 for around $1000... Best way to stay N/A

the only place i've seen cams for 1.8 and/or 2.2 are custom shops which = big$$$$. Anyone know of any other place to get cams done?

Well the plan was to upgrade the engine to a EJ25 anyway. I just don't feel like going into super or turbo charging the car.

Subachad is the only 1.8 I know of with turbo, and its all jury rigged from various other cars... (XT6 turbo, Saab intercooler, etc.)

And there are no cams that you can just go out and buy... That I know of

Jury Rigged??? I'm somewhat offended by that. A similar setup on Darshu's car nets 165hp to the ground. The pipes I sell are good quality, ask anyone who has them. For example, Darshu, HondaH8ter, and Rovah to name a few.

I meant jury rigged as opposed to a kit

Bad idea, buy my 95 WRX front clip instead. 260hp 5 speed, you know you want it.

Going with a 1.8 Turbo does sound cool. But I think getting a new engine would be so much better.
