I've had my accessport for a while and it's always had an issue with getting too hot and freezing up but if I put it in front of a vent for like 5 minutes it will work fine. Recently I blew my motor but I had a hybrid build done and now my accessport will freeze due to overheating and even after putting cold air on it it won't stay on long enough to load the map I need to run my car. I don't know what else to try and it's the only thing holding the car back. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for posting up! When was the last time you updated your AccessPORT? There was an issue with this "hot freeze" issue but we addressed this some time ago with a simple firmware update. If the AccessPORT is now no longer functional at all, it may need to come in for repairs. Are you needing a tune as well? Check our list of tuners and dealers at www.cobbtuning.com/dealers.
To have your AccessPORT repaired, give us a call at 1-866-922-3059 and we can get that sorted out for you! If you need to update your AccessPORT, download a copy of AccessPORT Manager at www.cobbtuning.com/support. Install and Run the program. If it has been a long time since the unit was update, there may be issues updating very old versions of firmware so be aware of that. If you have any other issues, please call us at 1-866-922-3059 and we will get you up and running as quickly as possible! Travis COBB Tuning |
