There's a bunch of regions in PA. If you're close to Philly, you're somewhat close to other large autox sites at the Northern New Jersey and Southern New Jersey Regions.

SJR has an event this Sunday. I'll be there with a few other members from here. It's a huge airport site. http://www.sjr-scca.org/forums/ipb/i...t=0&#entry5855

The SJR event got cancelled due to a bike show being scheduled on the same day. They're trying to reschedule the autox. And yes they'll run rain, shine, or snow...given the conditions aren't life threatening.

Philly should have a good turnout at Warminster. I have a 5k I'm going to now due to the cancellation of the SJR event.

I'm not sure where in PA you are, but the NNJR Porsche Club is hosting an autox on the Englishtown road course this Sunday 10/2. Its open to all cars, not just Porsches. A couple buddies and I are going and I think it would be cool to have a bunch of Subies out there on the road course

Registration is open until Friday at noon, let me know if anyone is going!

I attended the SCCA Philly event last weekend, it was a lot of fun!

The track was a little bumpy so I went 9/10ths in a few places but otherwise a lot of fun. I also got put into NBSP due to my stage 1, though I was clearly not competitive in that division... I did see quite a few subarus and talked to a few drivers while in line to drive but did not inquire who's on nasioc or not, etc.

Anyone attended?

@poptart: thanks for the info.

I went to one event with Philly SCCA and two BMW NJ SCCA, the philly scca track was nice but so freaking bumpy, I felt like I was destroying my car... The BMW club events are nice and I like the crowd but the tracks are really small (35-45 seconds).

Which regional club is the best you guys think? I'm near philly and the NJ South and North are roughly one hour away. As I mentioned, I wasn't a big fan of the philly SCCA location.

Also, any winter rally x events? that would be really fun.... ;-)

I run in the northern NJ region and have always had good experiences. The lot at the meadowlands was just paved last year so it's incredibly smooth and pretty large. Perry designs great courses, usually in the the 50-65 second range so I'd definitely recommend checking out at least one event up here next season

Don't count out the South Jersey Region either. We have a huge airport site this year. The shortest course was about 60 seconds and the longest course's FTD was 90.xxx seconds with 8 runs each event.

The course is only limited in size by the number of participants we get. If we get 60+ people registered, our course designers can plan out a huge course.

We'll also probably have a winter series again this year.

I keep threads on
LegacyGT.com: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea....html?t=120907
and
TST: http://www.tristatetuners.com/forum/...d.php?t=118834
updated with the info for each event.

Our last event for the summer series is Nov 13th. Hope to see some of you guys there!
