Post rubbing noise

ok, ever since I bought the 98 rs back in september, there has been this rubbing noise from the drivers side rear tire and sometimes from the other side when ever i hit a dip in the road or take a medium to hard turn, it's evn worse when there are people with me. i'm thinking maybe the rear struts are shot but does anyone have a clue on what may be causing this? i bought springs and don't what to drop the car until i remedy the problem....any help will be appriciated.

If it does not have stock wheels, find out if the wheels on it are the right offset. I had a set of wheels on an OBS that were the wrong offset and had the same kind of wheel well rub, inside the fender, especially with someone sitting in the back and ALWAYS on hard turns.
