Default JDM brake lines

Guys,

Would Impreza RS brake lines fit (bolt-on) my car? (1998 V4 STI)

Are all GC8 lines exactly the same? Front and rear?

I'm trying to get some Stainless Steel ones for my car, but I'm unable to find for my specific model...

OK, just to confirm, this is the catalogue information from StopTech:

These are the only ones applicable for Imprezas on those years... However, as you can see, it clearly states: EXCEPT WRX, so I'm worried they won't fit

The brake lines are part #950.47003 (front) and #950.47503 (rear).

Has somebody put this setup their JDM Version 4?

Only difference brake line wise is rear drums or rear disks.

So as long as the lines fit an RS (discs and ABS con all 4 wheels), should bolt-on my JDM Version 4?

the manufacturers probably make slightly different versions for different brackets and clip styles but thats all irrelevant. you can use any brakes lines made for any impreza with all disc brakes (drums are different) and they will be compatible. then just jam the brake line into the strut tower bracket and ziptie it twice in opposing directions (in an X) and youre good to go

Use NICOP and polish it up. It will last longer, easy to bend, and can polish nice like stainless.

My brighton brake lines used a different size banjo bolt than the early JDM sliding 2-pot front brakes I tried to put on.

That's strange. All EUDM and JDM GC/GF models use the same banjos front and rear through all model years. That would mean there are some weird USDM ducks in the pond.
