Default Removing plastic trim

I was wondering how you remove the plastic trim right in front of the rear wheel wells on an 02-05. There aren't any obvious ways to remove it. So does it just snap off? Would like to get this off to do a little work and repainting.

Post a pic of what trim exactly you are trying to remove. If you don't see any plastic pop rivets/fasteners inside the fender well then it is probably held on with just adhesive tape. If the rocker panel/side skirt is removed you should be able to slide some dental floss/low test fishing line behind it, and/or pry it off with a plastic/non-metallic scrapper. I would invest in some 3M adhesive remover to help loosen the bond before starting to pry at it, and to remove any adhesive when done. And of course, clean the are by washing and claying before scrapping at anything; use a soft bristle brush to get in the cracks to remove any debris where you are going to be poking, prodding, and scraping. But I guess if you are going to be repainting that area anyway, who cares about some scratches?JK But still, pics would help.

It's the black piece in the pic. I think that it might be held on with more than just adhesive tape... possibly screws but iuno how to get to them
(ignore the red circle, I was showing someone what piece I am needing to repair)

it is attached by adhesive. just get a flat head and use something to not scratch the paint (i.e. tape, towel). then pry it off.

Thanks guys! Not really worried about the paint tho. The pic shows that the rust didn't really car about it either. Need to get that piece out of the way so I can cut the rust out and weld in new metal
